They've yet to trespass anywhere I've declared off-limits, nor have they gotten into anything I've told them not to. [Mostly the sealed containers of blood in the icebox, but that was easy enough to avoid.]
So long as they respect the limitations I've set, I do not foresee a problem. Though... this world is prone to complicating things. We'll see if my assessment survives another lunar cycle or two.
